Fire at a Martinsville apartment complex under investigation
The Martinsville Fire Marshal’s Office and Martinsville Police are investigating a fire that happened Tuesday afternoon at the former Henry Hotel. The building is located on Broad Street and is now an apartment complex for senior citizens.

Woman robbed at gunpoint in Danville
Two men got out of the part, and one man pointed a gun at her and demenaded money. The victim give them a small amount of cash and the suspects feld the scene. The incident happened about 6:15 p.m. on Aspen Street.
