Burglar caught in the act in Patrick County

Patrick County deputies catch a burglar in the act and it’s all thanks to a phone call.
Officers responded to a call about a suspicious person on American Legion Road.
That’s where they found 18-year-old Matthew Weiland of Stuart on the roof of a home.
Investigators say Weiland entered the home by climbing on the roof and going through a window.
Deputies say Weiland is also responsible for three other break-ins.
He’s being held in the Patrick County Jail without bond.
