The first George Washington High School Job Fair will occur on May 21, 2008. This event has been created for our eleventh graders who are looking for part time employment and our seniors who may be looking for full time employment after graduation.
Employers include the city of Danville, McDonalds, Shorewood packaging, and others.
Here is some information we hope you will find useful:
School Location: George Washington High School, 701 Broad Street, Danville, Virginia.
Job Fair Location: The event will be held in the school’s library.
Hours: for students; 8:30- 1:30; For participants; set-up begins at 8:10.
Parking:
Turn off Central Blvd. on to Broad Street. (at the rescue squad headquarters.)
Turn right between the heliport and white security building.
Continue down to the end of the street and turn to the left through the open gate. Weather permitting; there will be a school representative to provide you with a parking tag for your car.
Please utilize the doors located at the far end of the parking lot.
We do not suggest parking in front of the school, at the flag pole, in the bus circle. This area can be congested in the morning hours.
