Danville Police are searching for Antonio Saunders, who officers say escaped from an inmate work detail Tuesday morning on West Main Street.
Investigators say the escape happened around 9:38 a.m. Officers now believe Saunders may have gotten into a car.
Police describe Saunders as 34-years-old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, orange vest, and “Adult Detention” marked blue jeans.
