Danville Police arrest a man they say told another man he had not eaten for days and then took his money.

It happened Friday afternoon around 1:15 near Riverside Drive.

The victim told Police he was walking near Union Street Bridge when he was approached by a man who said he had not eaten for two days and needed some change. The victim said he was getting out his wallet when the suspect hit him in the face, grabbed the money and ran off.

Police arrested 45-year-old Danny Hicks of Danville. He is charged with robbery.
