Danville Man Shot Inside Home

A Danville man answered a knock at his door and was shot, according to police.
It happened around 2:40 Sunday morning on Plum Street.
Officers responded to a shots fired call and found the man inside the house with gunshot wounds to his stomach and finger.
The man was taken to Danville Regional Medical Center by the Danville Life Saving Crew.
His name, age and condition are not being released.
