Police: Man kills sister in fight

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man they say killed his sister early Monday morning.
Deputies were called to the 3000 block of Cherry Hill Church Road in South Boston, that’s where they found the body of 57-year-old Carol Murray Wolfe laying on the floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say Ms. Wolfe and her brother Kenneth Wesley Murray, 61, were fighting early Monday morning. He has been charged with first degree murder. He is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
