The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says U.S. Marshals caught a 17-year-old murder suspect, hiding in Maryland.
Investigators say 17-year-old Christopher Wharton was found hiding in a closet in a house in Upper Marlboro, MD on Wednesday (April 23rd). That’s in Prince George’s County, outside of Washington D.C.
Wharton faces charges of first degree murder, robbery, and two gun charges in connection with the killing of Heath Alloway in Henry County back on March 16th.
Deputies tell us Wharton has waived an extradition hearing, and is being brought back to Virginia by Henry County officers.
Deputies previously arrest another 17-year-old and 18-year-old Joshua Claytor in connection with the Alloway murder.
