Man Shot and Killed In Danville

According to the Register and Bee in our Danville newsroom a man was shot and killed Wednesday night on Cherokee Court in Danville.
Lt. Doug Crawford of the Danville Police Department has confirmed that Darry Wimbush, 25, died of a gunshot wound at about 9 p.m.
No further details were available late Wednesday since the incident was still under investigation, police said.
