Medical situation causes crazy crash in Danville
Police tell us a car drove across Piney Forest Road, turned onto Nelson Avenue, crashed into a mailbox, and got stuck.

Danville Police say a medical condition caused a crazy crash this afternoon (Friday, April 25th).
Officers tell us they received a call around 12:15 p.m., about a reckless driver on Piney Forest Road. Officer S. Luck happened to see the driver heading north in the Southbound lane. She then pulled her police cruiser out into the center turn lane, and turned on her siren.
The car then drove across Piney Forest Road, turned onto Nelson Avenue, crashed into a mailbox, and got stuck.
When Officer Luck got to the car, she found a driver suffering from a medical condition. EMS crews took the driver to Danville Regional Medical Center.
Luckily no one else was hurt. Police have not released the name or condition of the driver.
