A new bargain outlet store will be moving into Danville in Kings Fairground Mall on Riverside Drive.

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, a Mid-Atlantic retailer of closeout, surplus and salvage merchandise is expected to open later this year in a 30,000-square-foot space, announced the Lightstone Group, the real estate company who owns space in the mall at the intersection of U.S. Routes 29 and 58.

Long-time residents of the mall, Virginia Bank and Trust also renewed its lease with the Lightstone Group for another five years.

“The Danville community will greatly benefit with the addition of Ollie’s as well as the continued presence of Virginia Bank and Trust,” said Jeffrey Dash, vice president of retail leasing and management for the Lightstone Group. “We look forward to Ollie’s becoming a long-standing member of the community just as Virginia Bank and Trust has done.”

The Kings Fairground Mall is also home to Dollar General, Tractor Supply and other retailers.
