Playground murder suspect surrenders to police
Danville Police arrest 19-year-old Kavion Bennett after an hour long negotiation with police. He is suspected of killing another man at White Rock Playground back in April.

Danville Police arrest a man suspect of a playground murder.
Police found 19-year-old Kavion Bennett at the Budget Inn on Piney Forest Road. Police say he was hiding there. Officers from the SWAT team and hostage negotiations were called with a search warrant.
After an hour of negotiation, Bennett came out of the room. He was not armed.
He was arrested and is being interviewed Tuesday morning.
Bennet is wanted for murder in connection with a shooting that happened at White Rock Playground on April 12.
