Police investigate robbery at movie store

Police are investigating a Monday evening robbery that took place at Movie Starz on Piney Forest Road. At about 11 p.m., an employee of the store reported that a light-skinned black male came into the store, pulled a handgun and demanded money, said Lieutenant Scott Eanes. The employee reported that the male was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. He stole an undetermined amount of money, said Eanes as well as the employee’s cell phone before running out of the store.
