South Boston Police looking for armed robbery suspect

Police in South Boston are looking for a man they say robbed the Jiffy Food Store Sunday night at gunpoint.
It happened around 5:20 p.m. at the store on John Randolph Boulevard. The clerk told police an armed man wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt, came into the store, showed a small handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an unknown amount of cash and drove off in an older model, black, Chevrolet Caprice.
