Beverly Cooper’s class at Patrick Springs spent Friday at the Bassett Historical Center Releasing trout into the Smith River. Each year the students raise trout from eggs to fingerlings for the big release into the water. This is the third year for the trout in the classroom program. There are more releases planned for May and June.
