Three Danville residences were broken into Friday night by thieves who grabbed computers and DVD players.
A home on Stokesland Avenue had two laptop computers and a portable DVD player taken when thieves gained access by forcing open the back door, according to Danville Police Capt. Barry Creasy.
Two apartments on Grove Street were also robbed, and the thieves netted a computer, DVD players and jewelry in those break-ins, police said. Creasy said none of the residents were home when the robberies occurred.
