Unattended food starts house fire
The Danville Fire Department says food left unattended started a house fire Friday night.

The Danville Fire Department says food left unattended started a house fire Friday night.
Crews say there was smoke coming from the front door and kitchen windows of a house on Mary Miles Drive. They say the person inside the house tried to put the fire out with a garden house until firefighters got there. Crews say there is heavy fire damage to the kitchen and smoke damage to the rest of the house.
The person inside was taken to the Danville Regional Medical Center for minor smoke inhalation.
