Woman robbed in Danville parking lot

Danville Police are investigating a Wednesday night robbery in the parking lot of Cain Creek shopping center, at 1416 Boston Rd.
A woman reported that at slender, black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, approached her vehicle at about 9:30 p.m.
The robber smashed her driver’s side window, took out a handgun, reached in her car, and stole her purse, police said.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The woman is not hurt.
