Is the Democratic primary going on too long?

I’m curious. Do you think the Democratic primary fight has gone on too long? We’re hearing a lot of people say they’re over the constant news coverage, harping by the campaign surrogates, and back and forth between the candidates.
I understand the criticisms, but I have to say, I am loving it. I guess it’s a dream election for a political junkie or political reporter. I just so happen to be both!
I also find the complaints about the length of the primary to be ironic. I have one friend who at first complained that the primary calendar is too frontloaded and that it keeps people in the states that vote later from getting a say in who the nominee is. That same friend is now complaining that the primary has lasted too long and that it’s hurting the Democratic Party and it’s eventual nominee. Does anyone else see the contradiction there?
And, no matter the complaints, it now appears the fight will go on at least until the Indiana primary two weeks from now. If Hillary loses there, she may very well suspend her campaign. But, if she wins Indiana you can expect the campaign to go until the very last primary: Puerto Rico. Who would have ever imagined that Puerto Rico would actually matter in this primary fight? I know I didn’t, but I have to admit that I’m glad it’s going to!

I am bored to tears and can’t figure out why they couldn’t have made quick work of it like the Republicans did. Looks like they have to have the last word always, even if they bore everyone ad nauseum.
