Downtown Fun

I am definitely a fan of the warmer weather.  When the wind blows the way it has lately it takes your breath.  Over the weekend my husband and I decided to take advantage of all the downtown Roanoke has to offer and found we are a little out of the loop.

Two highly recommended restaurants for lunch had hours posted that are only evening hours.. we basically did a huge loop and were still very hungry at the end of it.

We finally found a fabulous restaurant very near where we started and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the people watching.

Even on a blustery day it was a reminder that we live in a place that has a lot to offer… it is just a matter of taking the time to get out and enjoy it.

This weekend will be nice weatherwise - if you haven’t checked out downtown lately I highly recommend it as a fun afternoon.
