Getting HDTV

Okay so I am not always the most technologically up to date kind of person… I use my cell phone to call people… not usually to take pictures… only recently have I kind of started “texting” and until about a week ago I was perfectly happy with our 27 inch “tube” television. 

Everyone around me has been getting flat screens and plasmas and LCD’s and whatever else there is out there… one by one everyone told me how great it was.  The picture is so clear… the colors are so vivid… you have to get one… with my schedule I don’t watch a lot of television at home before work.. I mean no offense to die hard soap fans but I’m just not into them…

When I am at work I have my television on CNN or MSNBC keeping up with what is going on in the world… so there aren’t a lot of favorite sitcoms or dramas in my world… my husband is a different story… he can rattle off a whole list of favorites at any given time…

Soooo we broke down and bought a 26 inch flat screen television that is LCD and has HDTV and DVR… I mean really, could there be any more letters to keep up with there?

I have to say it really is amazing!!! Watching “HD” is so cool and it gives me a new appreciation for the fact that WSLS is the only local news you can watch in HD.  Perhaps we will upgrade even more in the future.. a bigger TV etc.. but for right now I am just thrilled with our first small step into the future of television.
