In the last year or so I have really refined my regimen… including regular exercise and eating smaller portions that give me the most for each bite.. and when I say give me the most I don’t mean calories but nutrients… I used to snack on anything I could get my hands on and now I am much more selective… I have remained red meat free for the past month or so and have only had fish, seafood and a little bit of chicken in that time as I experiment with protein alternatives and enjoy the benefits of a semi-vegetarian diet (I don’t mean to offend any vegetarians.. I just made that up because it is how I think of myself right now.)
So as I was at a local natural food store shooting a couple of stories I discovered a couple of new items that I am going to try out… one is a supplement for energy called Rhodiola and the other is Arnaca Gel for muscle soreness… there was a time many years ago when I wouldn’t have had much interest in vitamins and supplements… maybe it’s age… maybe it’s research that shows effectiveness… or maybe it is just a realization of the benefits nature has to offer…
