SML Triathlon Training is in Full Swing

I have logged 18 running miles for the week… Cindy is logging miles on the bike and Mike is preparing for the swim!  Mike may have the hardest part - the water at Smith Mountain Lake must be cold right now… I mean really cold!

When I got home last night I was trying so hard to think of a name for our team… I haven’t even met one of our members yet… and Cindy approached me about the event a couple of weeks ago and before that she and I had never really talked much… We are all different ages… different professions… different hobbies… perhaps that may have something to do with the fact that we all have different talents for this competition...who knows?

Cindy’s son is very excited about our team and what we are hoping to accomplish (having fun and finishing the race) so Cindy suggested we name the team after him… .so we are “Brandon’s SML Dream Team!” What a cool name!
