When is it going to warm up for good?

I keep planning to keep the jackets in the closet but… without one tonight it was cold.  I listen to Jeff when he gives us the forecast but sometimes I get so focused on the highs for the day I don’t pay enough attention to the lows…

When I walked out of the station after the early evening news earlier I was actually chilly.  Not “spring” chilly but fall-like… my mom says we don’t have seasons anymore… and in some ways I think she is right… not much snow over winter and so far and we have had several days that felt like old man winter was still hanging around by his fingernails…

Memorial Day is not far off and some call it the unofficial start to summer… from what I have seen so far I may be calling it the un-unofficial start to summer…

The seedlings are really growing nicely and I just bought three “forever and ever” hydrangeas… one thing about spring cooler temperatures or not.. there is always yardwork to be done and with the rain we have had you can hear the grass growing… no complaints about that especially after the dry weather we had last year.
