Why Did the Snake Cross the Road?

As I was running errands before work today I was on a rural back road and saw something in the distance moving on the pavement.. I started to slow down… then I let out a little yelp and a gasp when I realized it was a SNAKE!!! I didn’t want to hit it because I hate to kill anything and I also did not want the leftovers on my wheels…

So what do you do?… you don’t want to swerve… braking seemed to help… I squinted my eyes a little bit and to my amazement the snake ended up lining up right between my two front wheels… no rumble strip sound as I passed over it… I looked in the rear view mirror and he was just wiggling his way across
to the other side… not a care in the world…

Not sure what he was looking for… there was no water on the other side… I just chalked it up to one more sign of spring and that before you know it summer will be here… time flies…
