On Friday as Jeff showed us the extended Storm Team 10 forecast I was not looking forward to Monday and the beginning of the week… instead I was focusing on Saturday.. which in my backyard was great after a small late morning thunderstorm and some much needed rain…

Once the rain cleared out Matt and continued our mulch madness of the season and finally finished one large area of our backyard.. it hadn’t been mulched in 4 years so when Matt remarked that he thought it might be a little too light in color… I quickly quipped back that anything was better than dirt.. which is what we have had for the last few years… there is still plenty to be done but at least we have a good start…

My mini-greenhouse plants are coming along nicely.. I am to step 4 on the instructions which says to “harden” the plants… start setting them outside in the shade and gradually move them into the sun… today wasn’t the day to start that huh?  All of the little seedlings look so good I don’t want to mess it up now so I am gong to wait until Wed to start moving them outside… which brings me to my hope of warmer weather sticking around for good as we make our way through this week…
