Storm Team 10 Meteorologist Patrick McKee can be seen weekdays on 10 On Your Side Today and at Noon. Patrick joined the Newschannel 10 team in March of 2006. Before moving to Virginia, he spent four years covering a lot of severe weather while working at KSWO-TV in Lawton, Oklahoma. Patrick is originally from central North Carolina.

Patrick's interest in weather began as Hurricane Hugo moved over his hometown in 1989. He attended Elon University with Jeff Haniewich earning a degree in Broadcast Communications with minors in Math and Computer Science in 1999. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville with Jeff Haniewich. He earned his post-baccalaureate degree in atmospheric science in 2001.

In his spare time, you'll see Patrick eating a lot and occasionally cooking. Of course, being from North Carolina, Patrick is a huge Carolina Tarheel fan.
