Tech seniors deliver a message
Virginia Tech’s coaches adjourned the team meeting Saturday, but the Hokies’ seniors remained in the room at the Merryman Center. Coming off two consecutive losses, they had planned all week on delivering a message to their teammates. This seemed the best time to do it, as the Hokies returned from a two-day break.

QBs Taylor, Glennon suffer ankle injuries; Holt left to finish game
Cory Holt scanned the sideline and tried to find someone who could lend him a wristband with Virginia Tech’s plays typed on it. But Tyrod Taylor, who sprained his left ankle on the game’s first play, had changed into street clothes. Sean Glennon, who replaced Taylor as Tech’s quarterback, was in the locker room having his left leg X-rayed.
