COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - The Maryland Terrapins will be looking for revenge tonight when Virginia Tech visits the Comcast Center.
The Terps lost last month in Blacksburg when a Greivis Vasquez missed a game-winning three-point attempt at the buzzer. Vasquez admits he was selfish that night and played poorly. Since then, he has redeemed himself, earning co-player of the week honors in the Atlantic Coast Conference last week.
The Terps enter tonight’s game 7-4 in the ACC and have won 7 of 9 since the loss to the Hokies. Virginia Tech is 5-6 in conference play.
