AMONG THE HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES TAKING PART IN THE FOOTBALL COMBINE AT THE EDGE SPORTS PERFORMANCE CENTER, PATRICK COUNTY RUNNING BACK JOHN HARRIS AND HIDDEN VALLEY RECEIVER MATT AIKEN.  BOTH SAY THE COMBINE IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHERE THEY ARE NOW, AND WHAT THEY WANT TO IMPROVE, BEFORE THEY HEAD TO COLLEGE.  SOME OF THE MOST IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS CAME FROM HARRIS.  JUST A JUNIOR, HE POSTED A 35 INCH VERTICAL JUMP AND HIS 40 YARD DASH NUMBER EVEN SHOCKED HIM. “I HAVE NOT RUN A 4.28 SINCE I WAS A FRESHMAN, AND I WAS ABOUT 150 POUNDS.“
