Three more SW Virginia squads punched their tickets to the Spring jubilee with state quarterfinal wins on Wednesday. John Shotwell’s James River softball team took out visiting Coeburn 1-0 in a nine inning thriller, while the Knights baseball team pulled out a one run win as well--7-6 over Honaker. Finally, Salem jumped on Lord Botetourt early on a Molly Satterfield breakaway goal, then never looked back in a 3-0 win in Group AA girls soccer. All three teams advance to the state semifinals--the Spring Jubilee--to be held at Radford University this weekend.
