High School Tournament Coverage: Tunstall girls edge past Martinsville in Piedmont District

The Tunstall Trojans beat Martinsville 46-43 on Monday to advance to the second round of the Piedmont District tournament.
Kyanna Smith led the Trojans (7-14) with 16 points and as many rebounds, while teammates Catelyn Stephens (13 points) and Nicole Barbour (10) also contributed.
Martinsville was led by Aishah Jones’ 14 points and by Liz Martin’s 10.
The Trojans will take on Bassett at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Magna Vista High School.
