It came on a simple free throw in the third quarter. Knights senior center Corey Ware knotched the 1000th point in his career—and then paused to receive congratulations from his coach, family and friends. The 6-2 senior finished with 23 points as the 6th ranked team in Class A in the state this week handled the Craig County Rockets by a final score of 87-50. Ware is a standout football player as well, and will likely pursue a career on the gridiron in college.
