Defending State Champion Hidden Valley defeated Blacksburg 49-34 behind Abby Oliver’s 16 points. Kylee Beecher added 10 points and six rebounds in the win, which sets up another Titans vs Cougars matchup.
Pulaski County took out Christiansburg 68-55 to claim the second slot in the finals.
In Blue Ridge District action, Lord Botetourt followed up a perfect District regular season with a 70-35 victory over Alleghany in the semifinals. They’ll get Northside in the finals, as the Vikings edged William Byrd 45-40.
Other scores Tuesday night include the Franklin County girls 46-39 winners over William Fleming, and the GW Danville girls handled Patrick Henry 68-51 in Western Valley District tournament action.
In Seminole District girls action, the Brookville and Staunton River girls both advanced to the finals with wins. Brookville downed Jefferson Forest 42-30, while Staunton River ousted Liberty 58-33.
In Independent School Playoff action, Roanoke Catholic cruised by Holy Cross 77-21.
