Titans Double Up on Region Titles

The Titan girls shugged off a serious challenger in 25-1 Bassett behind 19 from Kylee Beecher and 16 from Abby Oliver. The defending state champs captured the Region IV title at Northside HS by a final of 59-38.
The Titan boys needed two overtimes to finally shake free of River Ridge rival Blacksburg. Blacksburg took Hidden Valley to overtime in the District final game as well. But both games eventually go to the Titans...this one was 70-61 in 2OTs.
North Cross has advanced to the Division III State Final of the VIS with a thrilling 53-51 overtime win as well.
