Richmond International Raceway officials said today they are monitoring Tropical Storm Hanna but the weekend’s NASCAR events, including the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 Saturday at 8 p.m., “are currently scheduled to run as planned.“
NASCAR’s routine policy for rained-out races is to reschedule them for the next clear day. The last time a Saturday night race at RIR was rained out (the Crown Royal 400 on May 5, 2007), it started on Sunday at 1:15 p.m.
