The biggest names in softball stopped by Salem for a tune up game before heading to the Olympics in Beijing.  Cat Osterman threw a great game, striking out 15 and allowing just two hits.  The two hits for Salem came from the bats of two Virginia Tech players, Jenna Rhodes and Jessica Everhart.
Every player played for the Salem All-Stars, which was made up of players from the area and surrounding colleges.  The National team got the win 9-0, but this night was more about having fun for the Salem squad.  Fans were able to get autographs from both teams after the game.  The Olympic team begins competition in Beijing August 12th.
