TRYING OUT THE BRAND NEW PRACTICE FIELD AT THE EDGE SPORTS PERFORMANCE CENTER.. THE FIRST YEAR OF THE N-F-L CLINIC HAS BEEN A SUCCESS BRINGING OUT PROFESSIONAL AND COLLEGE COACHES.
“We are going to do our part to make it bigger and better.. hopefully the players can make it bigger every year,” says Robbie Hebert of the Edge.
BOBBY JACKSON HAS OVER 40 YEARS OF COACHING EXPERIENCE.. MOST RECENTLY WITH THE MIAMI DOLPHINS.. FORMER SALEM QUARTERBACK MARK HANABURY, NOW A RECEIVER AT DAVIDSON, IS HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY INSTRUCTION..
“It’s awesome that they get to come down and work with us, we are all learning from their instruction.”
THE CAMP IS NOT JUST FOR LOCAL PLAYERS.. JARRETT BROWNFIELD IS A HIGH SCHOOL QUARTERBACK FROM INDIANA.. EVERY SUMMER HE WORKS WITH QUARTERBACKS COACH JOHN MCGREGOR HERE LOCALLY.. HE SAYS THE QUALITY OF CAMPS LIKE THIS.. IS A BIG HELP TO HIS GAME..
“We get alot of good reps… alot of good players out here, running good routes.. learning alot.”
NOT ONLY ARE PLAYERS BEING HELPED BY THIS CAMP.. WILLIAM FLEMING HEAD COACH ROB SENSENEY BROUGHT A BUNCH OF PLAYERS.. IT GIVES HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHO CAN HANDLE THE CHALLENGE WHEN PRACTICE STARTS AT THE END OF THE MONTH..
“We evaluate them at all periods of time.  On the field, off the field, how they carry themselves in the community.. We are always looking at our kids, trying to figure out where they fit in.”
