Hokies' Clarke Has Torn ACL, Lost for Season

Blacksburg (WSLS-10 Sports)- The Hokies will be moving forward this season without their leading rebounder and 4th leading scorer.

Chris Clarke has a torn A-C-L in his left knee after going down in the second half of the Virginia Tech upset of UVA at Cassell last night.

Clarke will be scheduled for surgery in the coming days and will miss the remainder of the season.

The sophomore out of Virginia Tech was averaging 11.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, and leads the teams in steals with 30..and is second in assists with 79.

Virginia Tech is at Pittsburgh Tuesday night.
