Radford Blanks High Point to Advance in Big South Tournament

   (BOILING SPRINGS, N.C./WSLS)- The Radford Highlanders baseball roll continues in North Carolina with a school record 13th straight victory. The Highlanders, nationally ranked for the first time in school history, continue to add to their school record win total after a 4-0 blanking of High Point in the Big South Quarterfinals on Wednesday night. Michael Boyle tossed eight scoreless innings for the regular season champion and top-seeded Highlanders and closer Ryan Meisinger allowed just one hit in finishing the game off in the ninth, combining for the team's first shutout of the year.  The Highlanders stand at 41-14 on the season with their second victory of the tournament. They have Thursday off before facing Thursday's Winthrop-Campbell winner in the semifinals on Friday.
