RADFORD (WSLS) -  Radford University's Student Recreation and Wellness Center officially opened Monday morning, after more than two years of construction.

The 110,000 square foot facility cost about $32 million to build, and it was funded entirely by student fees.

The building includes things like three floors of cardio equipment, an inclined track and basketball courts.

School leaders say this investment will play a huge role in recruiting and keeping students.

The building can hold around 500 students at a time, and will also be used for intramural sports, classes and conferences.
