RADFORD (WSLS 10) - Book lovers, rejoice! $15,000 are heading to Radford University's McConnell Library for a new community reading program.
The money will go towards hosting The Big Read fall 2015.

The Big Read is a National Endowment for the Arts program, which aims to strengthen communities through the joy of sharing a good book.
McConnell Library is one of 75 organizations to receive a grant for the program.
All of the groups will read the same book, which is "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien.
Activities involving the book will take place between October and November 2015.
