Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow took NBC-17's restaurant advice, and dined at Poole's Diner in Raleigh.

On Tuesday, the "Iron Man 3" star tweeted that she had arrived at RDU and was looking for suggestions on where to go eat.

Several people replied, including NBC-17 web producer Jake Seaton. He suggested she try Poole's in downtown Raleigh.

Thursday morning Paltrow replied to NBC-17 on twitter, saying she indeed went to Poole's:

"Poole's diner and it was AMAZING! Thanks for the tips everyone! RT@NBC17 @GwynethPaltrow Where did you decide to go for dinner?"

Poole's Diner confirmed Paltrow was indeed there, and they were thrilled with the visit, and thanked NBC-17 for recommending the star dine there. The restaurant says it received 96 mentions on Twitter after the star asked for recommendations.

Our staff recommended a number of other great Triangle restaurants as well, as there are many.

Paltrow is in the area for a few days shooting scenes for the latest installment of "Iron Man." The film has been shooting in Cary the past three days, with shoots at Epic Games off Crossroads Blvd. and SAS off Harrison Ave.

Among the stars spotted around the Triangle were Don Cheadle on set at Epic Games and Guy Pearce at the Umstead Hotel & Spa. Eagle-eyed fans have also reported seeing Robert Downey Jr. dribbling a basketball outside Epic Games and James Badge Dale dressed in a red, white and blue Iron Man-type costume inside the Epic building.

After the shoot in Cary, the production heads back to Wilmington where the majority of the movie is being filmed.

"Iron Man 3" is set for release May 3, 2013.
