South Peak development gives more specifics on planned Roanoke Co. hotel

The South Peak development team is releasing more details on its planned 117-room Hilton Garden Inn hotel.

South Peak is located on what was formerly known as Slate Hill, off Route 220 in Roanoke County, near Tanglewood Mall.

South Peak says the hotel will have a fifth floor conference room and a full-service restaurant.

Groundbreaking is set for later this spring.

Developers believe the hotel could be open, or close to opening, this time next year.
