Roanoke Police say the driver of a moped that was involved in a crash last week has passed away.
The wreck happened early Friday morning.
Police say Robert Richards, 68, was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he died over the weekend.
Jonathan Brookman, 37 of Radford is charged with following too close.

A moped is involved in an accident on Dale Avenue and 20th in Roanoke near Fallon Park Elementary. Police have not released information on the condition of the driver. The accident happened between a moped and a utility truck Friday morning.
