News Channel 11 has learned investigators are set to announce new developments in a nearly four year old murder case.

The Tazewell County Sheriff's Office will announce what it calls an "important development" in the Pizza Plus murders that happened March 30, 2009.

You can watch the news conference live at 10 a.m. right here on wjhl dot com.

The night someone killed Harvey and Valerie Looney, they had stayed late to close the Pizza Plus in Claypool Hill, Virginia.

Previously, detectives had told News Channel 11 they believed someone with knowledge of the restaurant's security system might have been involved.

Detectives think the attacker, or group of attackers, were watching when Harvey Looney walked out the back door of the restaurant. To date, the sheriff's office has not released the cause of death for either victim.
