Structural concerns have forced the Pulaski County school system to close portions of two schools.
Engineers detected an outward bow in a wall of the Dublin Middle School gymnasium.
They also found issues with walls at the Pulaski Middle School in the gym and the auditorium.
Pulaski County schools superintendent Tom Brewster said he closed access to all those areas as a precaution.
He said it would take about two weeks for the school system to finish the process of hiring a firm to repair the walls.
Brewster said teachers and parents are being advised that the portions that are currently closed will stay closed through the end of the school year.
