A former General Manager of Uncle' Bubba's Restaurant is suing Paula Deen Enterprises, the business's parent company.
Lisa Jackon is charging harassment, racial discrimination and abuse in the suit, which was filed Monday in Chatham County Superior Court.
In the lawsuit, Jackson said during her five years with the company, the staff "lived in fear" of Bubba Hiers and the possiblity of physical violence.
Jaskson also accuses Hiers of threatening conduct, watching pornographic material on the job, and passing around X-rated pictures during a managers meeting.
She is asking the court for compensatory and punitive damages.
Lawyers for Paula Deen Enterprises said the allegations are without merit, and they are looking forward to their day in court.
