Roanoke President's Day trash collection schedule changes

City of Roanoke news release

City offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18, for Presidents Day. As a result, the following schedule will be in effect for collection of trash, brush and cardboard/paper recycling during that week.

Residential/Commercial:

All residential/commercial solid waste collection (including, recycling, and brush) will be delayed one day:

Monday - trash, recycling, and brush to be collected on Tuesday
Tuesday - trash, recycling, and brush to be collected on Wednesday
Wednesday - trash, recycling, and brush to be collected on Thursday
Thursday - trash, recycling, and brush to be collected on Friday.

Central Business District:

CBD will be worked on schedule Monday, Feb. 18, through Saturday, Feb. 23.
