Liberty Tax Service offering free filing help

Tax season is in full swing - and one company is working to help those dedicated to others this year.

Liberty Tax Service is kicking off a month and a half of "appreciation weeks" to show their gratitude for everyone from teachers to firefighters, personal trainers, veterans and volunteers.

The company is dedicating one week to each group to help them prepare their taxes for free.

February 18th to February 24th all veterans, active military members and families can get free tax help.

On February 25th to March 3rd Liberty Tax Service is saluting our educators. Teachers, day care workers and all school staff can drop by for free assistance filing their returns.

March 4th to March 10th is Police and firefighter appreciation week - all officers, firefighters and EMT's can get their refunds filed for free.

March 11th to March 17th Liberty Tax Services is offering free assistance to all nurses, therapists and hospital workers.

March 18th to the 24th is healthy living appreciation week - meaning all gym staff members, personal trainers, dieticians and recreational center staffs can head in for tax help without the bill.

Wraping up their month and a half of appreciation - Liberty Tax Services is offering free assistance to non-profit organization employees and volunteers from March 25th to the 31st.

Folks can either head to the Williamson Road NE location in Roanoke - or the West Main Street office in Salem.
